Rapport Hotel Sacheon

It's not a newly opened motel, but it's decent enough overall. The owners are friendly.

The place was quiet and in good condition. I tried the Yukgaejang downstairs for breakfast, which was 7,500 won and seemed like a ready-made meal, so keep that in mind.

For a weekday night at 50,000 won, I’d first check whether the CG Best Hotel next door has a room. The young man who seemed to own this place greeted me. I wondered if it was a youth startup. Breakfast is included, but at check-in they handed me a box with two slices of bread and jam, plain yogurt, and a hard-boiled egg. It was surprising, though I could see how hard the young owner was trying to make it among the area's formidable motels. The recently renovated interior was quite clean, the bathroom was roomy but had no bathtub, and the bed and bedding seemed decent. Room temperature was a gamble, though, with some rooms very hot and others cold.

The facilities were far below what I’d expect at this price, so I can’t recommend it in the same price range. I visited in the afternoon, but even the exterior sign lights were off, which made the place really hard to find on my first visit.
