MK Liberty House

I only needed a clean, basic place to get warm and sleep for a few hours before my early flight. The room was small, with a bed for one, a toilet, and a shower, which was enough for me. The attendant was awake, warm, and welcoming when I arrived close to midnight, after other hotel lobbies had closed. He asked whether I was alone or needed a room for two, so I got the impression they might have bigger rooms or beds available. It’s literally across the street from Seoul Station, handy for the 5:15 a.m. train. It’s no luxury resort, but the price was right, and I can’t complain for what I needed.

The owners run the place themselves, and they’re warm, accommodating people who clearly put their heart into it. The rooms are cozy and clean, with all amenities provided. The location is a real gem, just across the road from Seoul Station, with convenience stores and eateries nearby. Lotte Mart is also right across the road and has everything. Highly recommended!

The location was great, but leaving luggage here was a mixed experience. The bags sat unattended on a staircase behind an unlocked door. There’s no elevator, and you have to carry your luggage up very narrow stairs when you check in.

Fine for a quick nap between trains. It’s super close to the station, and the sleep was comfortable, just don’t expect much.
