The mountain view was absolutely beautiful, and the rooms were clean. Mr Lee was incredibly friendly and helpful. He showed us around, took us to good local restaurants and to a ski rental shop, where he got us a discount, and taught us about ginseng. Thanks so much, Mr Lee, for such a great experience.

Mr. Lee was a wonderful host. He picked us up at Vivaldi, took us to the supermarket, and got the grill ready for our barbecue. The room had everything prepared, and the whole place was breathtaking. We loved staying in Heidi and will book again for our next ski trip.

I only stayed one day, but this place was much better than I expected. From other people's photos, it looked old and out of the way, but it turned out to be a great place to stay. It's close to the ski slopes at Vivaldi, the host is kind, and while the room is old, it's very clean. The view is stunning, and there are nice places to explore nearby, including Palbong Mountain and the Hongcheon River. There's also a friendly, cute cat named ‘Happy.’ My partner and I played with the cat before checking out, which made a lovely memory. We were really happy with the visit and would highly recommend it. Getting around by bus isn't great since most buses don't come often. It's a rural location, so having your own car or renting one would make it an amazing place to stay. I'd come back 10000%.

The cozy, well-equipped place has hiking trails nearby, so it suited me as someone who loves nature. What made this my favorite stay of our seven-day Korea trip, though, was John Lee. He picked us up from the ski resort, showed us around the community on the way back, and drove us to a nearby supermarket. He recommended local food and drinks, told us how farmers grow ginseng, shared bits about the culture, and gave us lots of travel tips. He felt like an old friend, and was so friendly and helpful. Thanks, John!

We came back one evening to find our rooms had been cleaned, which was a nice surprise. The host was very kind, like a caring grandpa, and even cooked KBBQ for us using his own meat, although guests are meant to bring theirs. We ate together while he told us about his travels and Korea. He also helped us withdraw cash and introduced us to a ski hire place offering 50% off. One of my favorite stays in Korea. A great choice if you're visiting Vivaldi Ski Park or Aqua World.
