The location is good, but the room was very basic. It had a queen-size bed, and the leather on the chair was torn. There were four small towels.

The balcony view of Seongsan llchulbong and the lake is amazing, which makes up for the somewhat old TV and furniture. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and really clean, and the front desk staff are super friendly and helpful. Hotel Aroha in Seongsan is perfectly located, just a short walk from lots of restaurants.

The reception staff were very rude. The mattress was hard as a rock, the pillows were really thin, and the bath towels were tiny, about the size of hand towels. The bathroom lights kept switching off automatically after just 20 minutes of use.

From the room you can watch divers in the lake, and the sunset views are wonderful. The lake view is fantastic, the rooms are decent and a good size, and the hotel is within walking distance of the main town.

The hotel surroundings are clean and the scenery is attractive, with a reasonable price too. The receptionist was welcoming and helped me sort out my transportation problem. There's a small restaurant beside the hotel where you can find Jeju's cheapest buffet.
