Driumstay

I was honestly very disappointed with room 518. It was badly outdated and damaged, the shower wall was covered in stains, and there was an actual hole in the bath towel. When we asked to switch rooms because of the condition, they firmly said no. A horrible experience. If you get room 518, ask them to change it or run.

The rooms all had a strong smell, and each bathroom had hair and water stains. After we checked in and saw our room, we decided we couldn't stay. The front desk woman first said she could help with a refund, then came back saying her boss wouldn't let her request one. Instead, she had to show us three other rooms, hoping we'd stay, but they had the same problems. She was very sweet, and I know she was following her boss's orders. I'm not upset with her. I'm very upset with the boss and management for wasting our time and money.

Getting to the airport on the 182 express line was easy, and the ICC conference center is a straightforward 15-minute walk away. Our ocean-view room was roomy and practical, with a large shower, though the bed was a bit hard. Great value overall.

The service felt like words with no follow-through. Check-in and checkout, which should be routine, were terrible. They kept apologizing, but nothing changed, and I couldn't feel any human warmth there. These days automated service might be better. Maybe it's already an AI-based system, given how awkward the interface with people was.
