Eastern Hotel Jeju

There’s a mini market downstairs, and the place was fairly clean. The standout was the staff: the two young women working the night of Jan 27 2026 were amazing. They helped me with my food and lots of other things. For the price, I can’t complain much. The bed was the one issue for me, too soft and spongy.

The helpful front desk staff made my stay, especially the young woman who helped me track down my debit card after I lost it on the bus. I’m grateful for all their help. The hotel is in southern Seogwipo near Jeju World Cup Stadium, with bus stops close by. It takes about an hour to get here from Jeju airport. Olle market is nearby, while other main spots around Seogwipo are 30-60 minutes away. Choose this hotel according to which parts of Jeju you want to see.

The room was so hot that I had to turn on the AC. It’s a very affordable place in Jeju, with small rooms that have a bathroom, table, and dressing closet. The young front desk clerks didn’t seem to want to be bothered, and they ask guests to put used toilet paper in a basket instead of flushing it. I didn’t do that. I’d stay here for the low price, but not for the service or amenities.

For the price, it’s fine. The room is small, and in the cheaper one the window looks straight at a building wall.
