The owners were so welcoming, even though I arrived an hour before check-in because of a typhoon. They didn’t ask for extra money, and instead asked about my dinner plans and sent me off with some ramen and eggs they had on hand. They had that friendly neighborhood auntie feel, saying I could ask for anything I needed at any time. The room was reasonably clean, and every room has an ocean view because the place is so close to the coastal road. The weather was nice, so the view was stunning. I’d definitely stay here again on another trip to Jeju Island.

The clean bedding and two bathrooms made the stay comfortable, and the kitchen also had a microwave and electric kettle. I brought my mother along, and she liked the warm ondol (floor heating). We had a great view, and the cafe on the first floor handled check-in and check-out in a very friendly way. They even gave me two cups of Americano when I checked out. I’d gladly come back.

The morning view from my room was incredible, with Seongsan Ilchulbong and Seopjikoji in sight. The owner is incredibly kind and makes sure you have what you need, and the coffee he serves in the morning is delicious. The room could use a few more dishes, and it’s a shame there’s no elevator.

The bed was soft and comfortable, and the room was clean, with good water pressure and a great view. The owner is very kind, too. Just plan ahead for food: the hangover soup restaurant next door closes early, there are no supermarkets close by, and delivery options are limited with a fairly high minimum order.
