Haerian Hotel

A clean, comfortable room at a great price.

I normally stay at the Benikia Hotel across the street, but tried this hotel for a change. The entrance has an old-fashioned motel feel, while the rooms remind me more of a condo. Every room has a washing machine, and looking around, I got the impression the building was designed as studio apartments for rent rather than as a hotel. That setup makes it a very good option for a longer stay.

I booked three nights in a basic double room through a booking website for just over 50,000 won per night, and this was the best value I’ve found among the places I’ve stayed in Jeju. The fifth-floor room in the seven-story building had a distant ocean view. Jungmun is handy for getting around on foot, with plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, and bars nearby. Though it’s called a hotel, I especially liked being able to cook and having a dining table. The room was brightly lit, and the spacious vanity had its own light, so I could spread out my cosmetics for four days. The bathroom was very clean, the bedding soft, and the wooden floor was warm when heated. The refrigerator had two bottles of water during all three days. I was really satisfied and would stay here again next time I’m in Seogwipo.

It’s quiet despite being in the Jungmun Complex, and the condo-style room is roomy and comfortable. There are convenience stores, supermarkets, and lots of food choices nearby, plus Saekdal Beach and pharmacies close by. The kind owner helped make it a lovely vacation. I’d like to come back~
