Jeju Grace Hotel

The laundry machines didn’t work, even though I paid four times, so I lost 20,000 KRW. My clothes were still wet when we had a flight to Seoul the next morning. I asked the hotel to take responsibility and refund what I’d paid for the laundry, but when something went wrong, the hotel didn’t help or accept responsibility. Send feedback

For a low price and a longer stay, I think this is a good choice. If you’re after a big room and nice hotel service, you’ll need to pick a different hotel. The price is reasonable, but they don’t clean the room every day, more like every two or three days. They may bring towels and water each day, though.

The place was handy for nearby hotels, convenience stores, and lots of food shops. From the bus stop, it’s about a five minute downhill walk to the center, which is around 10-15 minutes away. We stayed three nights, and it was mostly alright. We had a lovely view, a window seat, and a large TV, but our twin room felt cramped, with barely enough room for luggage. The bathroom was nice, especially the long counter and wall length mirror, though there was a reddish brown smudge on the wall. I also found a pubic hair between the pillow and pillowcase on one bed, and staff promptly replaced it. Towels and water were left outside the room; once, staff came in to tidy while we didn’t realize that would happen. We arrived during a heat spell, but the AC only blew toward one bed, leaving one person freezing and the other boiling. Check-in could be tricky if you don’t speak Korean, though the front staff were very helpful. We couldn’t really find the lounge. Laundry soap, a washer, and a dryer were provided, but there were only four washers and one working dryer across all floors.

The room was dirty, and the cleaners didn’t clean it. The things they advertised weren’t available either: the cafe lounge, business center, laundry, and kids’ area were all closed.
