The room smelled unpleasant as soon as I arrived. I asked to switch rooms, but was told the hotel was fully booked, even though several rooms around the property appeared available. Housekeeping also fell short. I was in the room during cleaning and had to ask for basic things, including making the bed properly. I had a cold and specifically requested a fresh pillow, but that never happened. After cleaning, water was left on the bathroom floor and I nearly slipped and fell. I was here on business, but evening concerts were so loud I had to wear a headset for meetings, even with the balcony doors shut. The room didn’t block the sound properly. When I asked reception for help finding a doctor or pharmacy, they brushed me off. Staff did smile, but I didn’t feel any real willingness to help or concern for guests throughout my stay. I’ve stayed at many five-star hotels around the world, and this was by far my worst experience at one. The facilities alone don’t make a five-star hotel; service matters, and this place failed on that front. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The kids had a great time with the pool and amenities at Lotte Jeju. I’m also grateful for the follow-up after our stay, and I can’t fault the team. Thanks for such a lovely break from the fast pace of everyday life. We’ll be back next year!

The heated pools were the highlight for me in winter, warm and relaxing, and kept in lovely condition. Staff were attentive, and the service and atmosphere both felt top-notch. It made for a luxurious winter getaway.

Our room was roomy, with a balcony overlooking the lovely outdoor pool. The hotel is near the beach and makes it easy to get to lots of interesting places. A nice spot to unwind, with a good gym and an indoor heated pool.

We chose a Hello Kitty room, and our daughter would happily stay there forever. There’s a whole wing for these rooms. We also liked the spacious room, free parking, nearby 7-11, and all the food and drink choices around the hotel. For facilities, there’s a gym, public sauna, bowling and arcade area, and a small casino. The grand feeling starts at the big main gate and carries into the lobby, which has very high ceilings. Most people were helpful, though a few came across as a bit cold or standoffish.
