We were happy with how spacious and clean the villa was when we arrived. It’s modern and has good appliances, but the listing didn’t mention a lot of the conditions that came with the stay. The biggest surprise was that filling the private pool costs an extra 50-100k. You’re also expected to wash the dishes and take out the trash, which isn’t the convenience I’d expect from a vacation rental, especially when that isn’t stated in advance. This setup seems best for families or groups of friends who plan to cook and take care of things themselves. It’s more of an Airbnb approach.

We tried the Mandailing and Kenya single-origin coffees, plus hot chocolate, and everything was great. The cafe is cozy, with a small library and children’s books, so it’s kid-friendly.

This is probably my favorite cafe. I came to get some work done, and it was calm with lots of books to read. You can see San-bang mountain from here, and there’s a view from the rooftop too.
