Olleyo Resort

So far, this is the nicest place I’ve stayed in South Korea. The room is spacious, with a beautiful view of the ocean and a nearby island. There’s a small kitchenette; ask reception for pans, dishes, and cutlery. Housekeeping brings plenty of the small towels each day, along with two bottles of water. The bus stop and Jeju Olle Trail are both about a two-minute walk away.

The rooms feel really spacious, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows. I’d give the service four stars because the corridor has a strong, constant smell.

The kitchen corners in the rooms are a great feature, and the staff were kind. The view is lovely too. There was sometimes noise from other guests.

The beds were comfortable, the floors and water were warm, and the morning sunrise was amazing. The rooms themselves are small and have no table or desk. What put me off was the staff. They weren’t ready for my Agoda reservation and kept saying I hadn’t booked. Check-in took 20 minutes, and even after they found me in the system, nobody apologized. The whole operation felt amateur, frantic, and disorganized, with no real customer care or calm. I wouldn’t come back. Avoid.
