I stayed in a duplex and found it neat, clean, and generally fine. The bathroom was cold, which was the one issue, and there was a bathtub on the second floor but no bathroom there. There were plenty of verandas, which could be handy for smokers.

Parking was convenient, and the place is roomy and nice, with two units in one building. Some repairs seem due, and the air conditioner needs cleaning. They provide charcoal for the barbecue, but charge 5,000 won per person for it.

The staff were friendly, and there's a convenience store nearby. The second and third floors connect as a duplex, with a shower room downstairs and both a bathtub and shower upstairs. Carrying luggage up was a bit of a struggle.

For around 100,000 won, you can get a three-bedroom, two-bath duplex, which feels like a hard-to-believe deal. This pension is close to Sanbangsan Mountain and has a roomy terrace with lovely surrounding views. The mattress is a little hard, though.

Quiet and clean, and the gentleman I assume owns the place was incredibly kind. Five stars from me. I'd come back if I stay in Daejeong or Andeok next time.
