If you're looking for peace, quiet, and contemplation, this is perfect. It's not a party place or an ideal base for typical sightseeing. The accommodation is cute, comfortable, and clean, in a quiet spot by a nice beach with great cafes and gorgeous nature within walking distance. Yoga classes are mainly in Korean, which is totally fine and sounds nice. The instructors make an effort to include foreigners and help where it matters, and the tea ceremonies are quite an experience.

The coast is intimate and simply scenic, with interesting tourist places nearby for daytime visits. Along the road north, you can come across Haenyo or a small bar serving the catch. We speak English, and communication was completely sufficient for taking part in all the classes. I spent three nights at this relaxation and meditation center with a friend. From outside, the building is inconspicuous and right next to the street, but stepping in feels like entering a different world. The spaces are beautifully arranged, finished to an excellent standard, and create a peaceful atmosphere, with lovely exposure to nature. The staff and teachers were great, leading meditation, yoga, and tea rituals that made our stay special. The restaurant serves an excellent Korean breakfast in keeping with the spirit of renewal and nourishment. The extra menu with seaweed and ingredients collected by Haenyo takes you to another world. I'd like to thank everyone who made our stay so special. This was certainly one of the most complete and satisfying experiences of my life.

It's a quiet, relaxing place, and I hope to come back someday. The building is well maintained, the rooms are spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Some speak good English. I think the location is good, neither too close nor too far from other places, with convenience stores and coffeeshops an easy walk away. Breakfast is served at the restaurant just in front of the resort. There are complimentary tea and meditation hours for guests, plus a giftshop in the resort.

I liked the first-floor layout and often relaxed there with incense, journaling and reading. The bedroom was lovely, though not at that price. The classes were good quality, the other guests were lovely, and breakfast was lovely too. The price was hard to accept. There were two of us, both foreigners, but because it was the last room, we were charged the full price for four people: 1.2 million WON for three nights, while other guests paid half. Even the team seemed surprised, but charged us anyway. It was hard not to feel ripped off when the price wasn't adjusted for two people in the larger room. When I raised issues, the team made no effort to respond and had a very nonchalant attitude. A deep dive at that price point could have been avoided. The Vinyasa and Hatha didn't feel authentic. The Hatha Asanas were traditional, but across six yoga classes there wasn't a single Pranayama. Meditation was an hour long and only truly useful if you've never done it before. It was too long for novices. The whole class moves the whole time or lies down, and because of the class location there are no natural nature sounds. Instead, it's 20 minutes of silence, 20 minutes having tea, and the rest is endless talking from the teacher. If you attend for more than one day, it gets really repetitive, so we stopped going. ‘Healing’ Yoga was truly a waste of time, don't bother. To top it off, I wanted to take two teas home and was charged 60k Won. All in all, it was a nice experience, but not for serious Yogis. The meditation needs structural changes, and the pricing regime with booking partners needs an overhaul. Such a shame.

For a relaxing stay in Jeju island, this hotel style resort was the best place I've ever stayed. They focus on tea and meditation, so peace and quiet are appreciated here. If you stay overnight, the tea ceremony, morning meditation, and yoga class are free. It's not suitable for parties, but it's perfect for wellness travel. If you'd like to forget your life worries, you should definitely stay here #RecommendedWellnessDestination #wellnesskorea #wellnesstourismsupporters #KoreaTourismOrganization #Chuidasun
