The Villas Ocean

A lovely place to stay and take in Jeju Islands' beautiful sea and the waves. Sit with a coffee and enjoy the cool sea breeze.

I had a lovely rest in this secluded place right by the beach. Before I arrived, I mentioned my check-in time and they said they'd turn on the boiler. The hot water was excellent, and the room was warm and comfortable. It's a square, one-room layout, with the living room and bathtub right in front of the window so you get a panoramic view. Great for looking out at the ocean or catching the sunrise. There was a queen-size bed and a single mat, which worked well for a family of three. A large table with three chairs and a swivel leather sofa made it easy to sit down for meals and snacks. There's a cafe on-site serving simple brunch, but we were too busy to try it. It snowed heavily that morning, so we just got coffee to go. Wishing you continued success.

The welcome was friendly, the room was clean, and the well-kept garden, lava-rock beach, and sea were right there when I opened my eyes. It gave me a real sense of calm. For anyone who starts the day with coffee, the room has a cold and hot water purifier that also makes ice, plus a Nespresso machine and basic capsules. I only wish I'd known from the room description that the machine and capsules were provided, so I could have brought extra capsules. The room itself and the view were wonderful. The only drawback was that the access road and location felt a little remote, which made getting around take longer.

The room was clean and the ocean view from the window was beautiful. The owner was friendly, and the in-room extras, like capsule coffee and cup soup, were nice. I could cook in the room, and there was a convenience store and a few restaurants nearby, though they were a bit of a walk. My room didn't have a bathtub, but it seems some of the others do. The bed was uncomfortable because it was made from two single beds joined together, with a clear ridge down the middle. I also couldn't seem to adjust the shower temperature, though I may have been mistaken, so washing at one temperature was frustrating.
