The beds and sheets were comfortable, and the rooms were nice. But the place felt like an apartment with a long list of rules. You can’t cook meat, and at the pool you have to wear a swim cap, along with following plenty of other rules. I arrived about an hour and a half early but still had to wait until 3pm to check in. It felt like an adult vacation camp, with too many rigid restrictions. Next time I’d look for somewhere closer to the water and more accommodating to Western guests.

We were a family of five in Casa Mille, unit E201, a three-bedroom on the second floor of a four-story building. The unit was spacious and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and a large master bathroom. The location was fine for staying around SeoGiePo-si, about an hour by car from Jeju airport. The complex itself felt old and dirty. The bathroom showers had mold, and I found a dead cockroach egg in a drawer. There was no view from the room and no amenities. The restaurant closes at 2:30pm, so it isn’t open for dinner. You need a swimming hat for the pool. They provide espresso machine capsules only once per stay, then charge 1,000won for each extra one. I picked this over Somerset by Shinhwa, but for a three-bedroom hotel room I’d choose Somerset on my next visit.

The Ocean Terrace room has an amazing view, so get that one. The resort is beautiful, the location is great, and most attractions are about 30 minutes away. The staff are sweet and awesome, and the room has everything you need. Great views and good value.

The location and staff were lovely, and we enjoyed the delicious accommodation and breakfast. Our room smelled of smoke, and we couldn’t get rid of it, but we still had a good stay.

The service was kind and friendly, and the design is practical and spacious. It’s so large a family could easily stay for a month. The room has a gas and electric stove, oven, fridge, rice cooker, and even a wine bar, though it could use more utensils. You’ll need a car to travel around, and really, you’re better off having one in Jeju. Five out of five!
