The one real advantage is the location, right across from Namwirye Station. Apart from Militopia Hotel, this is the only lodging in the area, and it feels like they rely on that. The cleaning was awful: dust behind the TV that looked untouched since opening, clumps behind the picture frames, and dust and debris at the head of the bed. They hadn’t even taken care of the wallpaper. The bathroom was grotesque. The window had been left open in -15°C weather; I closed it, and then the cigarette smell came back. It was my worst experience. Behind the counter, staff were busy playing FPS games on their laptops.

The room was so exposed that people in the building across the street could see inside because the curtains didn’t close all the way. There was dust everywhere, including behind the TV and in the hair dryer, plus cobwebs and dust on the floor. The soundproofing was poor too, and I could hear laughter from the next room. This is how Yanolja manages its accommodations.

It takes up the 9th and 10th floors of a commercial building. The place was dusty and didn’t seem to have been cleaned. They say parking is free, but you end up paying for it yourself. Don’t go. If there’s a decent hotel nearby, I’d choose that instead.

The building looked really stylish, but there was a lot of dust above the bed, as if it hadn’t been cleaned. Maybe it stood out more because the surface was black. For one night it wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t especially good either.

The rooms are a little small and the price is a bit high, but the facilities are modern and clean. Parking is in a roomy underground lot.
