SR Suites Pangyo

Being so close to Seohyeon Station, with plenty of cafes and restaurants around, made getting around easy. The rooms were clean and the in-room facilities well kept. This was my second stay at SR Suites Pangyo Hotel, from August 19-22, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The front desk staff were all friendly and ready to help. At breakfast, the lady saw we were foreigners unfamiliar with the dishes and kindly made us Korean bibimbap herself. We liked it so much we had two bowls each the next morning. I also loved the soups, especially the seaweed, bean sprout, and crab doenjang soups. They really felt like the heart of a Korean breakfast.

We first heard about SR Suite Pangyo through a friend in Bundang, and we're very satisfied with it. As a Korean-Australian couple visiting Korea at least twice a year for around two and a half weeks, we need a comfortable place for longer stays. The rooms are spacious and very clean, with a washing machine, a Styler, and a microwave. Being near the station makes transport easy, and there are lots of restaurants, department stores, and other amenities nearby.

Our stay at the SR Suite Hotel in May 2024 was very upsetting, and we won't be coming back. Even though we had the “Do Not Disturb” sign up, housekeeping came into our room while we were out, and one of my clothing items went missing during the cleaning. When I reported it, management just told me to check the room and luggage again, even after I said I'd already checked everywhere multiple times. They apologized when I complained that staff had ignored the sign and said it usually never happens, but housekeeping entered our suite on each of the next two days as well, again disregarding the sign. We were extremely frustrated and felt our privacy wasn't respected. The location was great, but management did nothing to make the situation better, and the whole experience was badly disrupted.

The room seemed clean, and it was an easy walk to the subway station and major department store. For a couple of nights, this place worked really well. I assume it's mainly a business hotel, and for what you pay, the room is quite large with fantastic in-room amenities. Our suite had a Styler machine, a microwave, and a large office desk.
