Breakfast was English style rather than Korean, and we enjoyed it. The receptionists were kind, and the rooms were larger than hotels in Seoul. Sujin Station isn’t far away. I’d like to stay here again next time.

The hotel itself is nice, but the way the staff handled “foreigners” has made me reluctant to return. I felt marginalized and discriminated against. I was only staying for four hours, and, as I understood the government website, the passport policy applied to tourists and should not have applied to me. Still, the staff pressed me for ID, while they didn’t ask my wife for hers. I reluctantly handed over my ID, then realized the policy shouldn’t apply to an F6 foreign visa. After I looked into it, the staff all said they had to do it “because I'm a foreigner.” Nobody asked whether I was a tourist, and it felt like the rules were being applied differently to me because I was foreign. If a hotel has a new policy, staff need to be trained on how to handle it, whether it comes from the government or the company. The lack of empathy here will drive customers away.

The receptionist and staff were really helpful, and the service was the best. Honestly, it felt like a 4-5 star hotel. I recommend it.
