Seosan Hello Hotel

For a business trip around the Seodan and Daesam Industrial areas, this hotel is a good, reasonably priced option. Breakfast is available Monday through Saturday. Supervisors and business travelers visiting the Daesan industrial area should find it a good choice.

I was here for one night for a school interview. The room was spacious and clean, and having a clothes steamer was handy. There’s a food street nearby, too. I was a little surprised to see a device in the room for buying adult products.

The interior feels roomy, and the bathroom was clean. Parking is underground, which keeps your car out of rain and snow.

The room was clean, and on the public holiday the owner kindly served Hangang ramen with rice soup and a few side dishes for breakfast. I appreciated that meal and enjoyed it. I got confused by the listing, though. I thought the whole floor was a hotel and booked the wrong place after choosing the option starting with “drive.” I hadn't realized it was a motel, and I felt bad for my husband, who smokes often. Coming and going was inconvenient because there’s no elevator, and the narrow stairs made it a hassle. Anyone traveling with parents should be careful. There are no separate door locks in the rooms either. The outside mechanical sensors control everything: press the auto-return button and the door opens and locks automatically. It's too bad you can’t use a visitor card or set a password.
