Borjomi Seoul Boutique Hotel

I left my puffer jacket and long coat behind, and when I came back to the hotel they said nothing was in the closet. Please, I need my jacket and coat returned.

I stay here five or six times a year for work, and usually both the room and staff are very good. Whenever I've needed help, the staff have been happy to assist. But at 11:30 pm on February 3, I asked a staff member to call me a taxi. He was an older man, and his attitude was really bad. He said they wouldn't help without this service. It was such a disappointing, very bad experience this time. I hope the hotel can improve.

The price was good for the quality, and valet parking is available for the underground lot. We visited in September 2023. Our first room had a safe that wouldn't open, but they moved us to one with a working safe. One younger desk employee struggled with English but was still helpful using a translation app; another was very kind and went the extra mile, ordering chicken, heating up store-bought dinners, and looking for a particular Soju flavor. The older gentleman and the cleaning staff were kind and helpful too.

My room and my parents' room both had broken sinks, patched with glue that looked bad. The room I was first given had a revoltingly strong cleaning smell. I asked to switch, and the smell was better in the new room but still unpleasant. There was a red mark on my sheets, though I couldn't tell if it was blood or wine. The staff were rude and racist. When my brother was smoking outside, a staff member told him, "this is my country, not yours!" They also cursed at him, called the police, and accused him of smoking in his room. The police came, thought the staff member was stupid, and left.
