The owner was very polite and gave me useful tips on sightseeing and places to eat in Seoul. When I mentioned there was no body towel, she brought me an extra towel, and on my last day she explained how to get to Incheon airport by bus from the nearby station. I really appreciated the help. I spent three nights here and was satisfied overall. There are lots of restaurants, cafes, bars and shopping malls nearby, and it’s very close to the MRT and bus station. The hostel or capsule hotel has a traditional but cozy interior and was quiet at night while I was there. Each capsule door locks from the inside, which made me feel safe sleeping there. I’d have preferred a thicker mattress, but it wasn’t a big issue and I slept well. If I return to Seoul, I’ll definitely stay at Capsule Majung again.

The neighborhood is fine, with lots of lights and restaurants, and the metro serves it very well. But the room was bad, the bed wasn’t very comfortable, and there was a lot of noise. The employee didn’t speak any English at all. Only go there if you have no other option. It’s somewhere to sleep in a box for the experience, and nothing more.

It’s quite affordable, with a bajery shop right on the corner and the subway station less than 100m away, though it can be a bit hard to find since you have to cross a parking lot. The capsule itself has more space than usual, but it’s basic and has no commodities at all. For the shower, they only provide a small face towel.

Some nights were noisy when Korean students were there, and the towels weren’t given every day like they should have been. There was also a guy working there with glasses who kept talking to me and asking about the U.S. It got really annoying.
