The rooms were all right, though a little worn. The receptionist began shouting at me in broken English. We eventually figured out he wanted us to leave our plastic room key card at reception. Being shouted at was unpleasant and ruined my day. As a tourist, I’d skip this place and look for somewhere nicer nearer downtown.

Really nice place, and the price was great for what you get.

The checkout experience was just as frustrating: we were told we couldn't sort out our taxi plans in the lobby and had to leave. After arriving from a 12-hour flight from the US, we were then told we'd need to pay nearly twice our original reservation price to enter at the normal check-in time, or wait until 10pm. They offered little flexibility, and wouldn't let us cancel or change the booking. We wouldn't stay here again or recommend it.

It was a standard motel. The location and price were good, though day-use bookings were full until our reservation time.
