Hotel Diamant

I had to take the bus because the subway station was about 2 km away. The room was very clean, and the price was 5,000 won, which seemed reasonable. There was a shower room but no bathtub, and no curtains.

The staff were friendly, and I was satisfied with the stay. The bathroom had been remodeled and was spacious. One annoyance was the mattress, which wasn't secured to the frame and kept shifting around.

The bathroom was huge and had very strong water pressure, and the hotel is conveniently close to the airport with a convenience store right across from it. My room was small, though, and the wooden structure in the bedroom had collapsed. The computer wouldn't turn on, and the only outlet had no power. The TV was very old, and the whole hotel seems due for remodeling.

There was plenty of parking, and my stay was quiet and satisfying. The standard room was reasonably priced and had enough space, although the two beds, one double and one single, felt like too much for one person. I enjoyed the large bathtub. The facilities are aging but were fairly clean. One issue: the wooden support under the mattress can catch your heels when you sit on the bed's edge and cause chafing. They should do something about that.
