That young man at the front desk was the one person who consistently helped us. The other staff there weren’t as helpful. Whenever we needed something or wanted to go somewhere, we asked him and he came through. The room was clean, with a comfy bed. It was smaller than a typical room in America, though the room did not smell of smoke despite a cigarette burn on the floor. Free bottled water was provided. There’s a café and a salon inside, but I never saw the café open during our stay. The hotel is across from olive young and close to a train stop. A taxi can be hard to get, but the front desk can arrange one. 7eleven and a french bakery are within walking distance. Don’t lose your keycard, since there’s a fee if you do.

We arrived around half past midnight on Saturday to find that hotel staff had cancelled our booking without warning. We’d received no email or call, and there was no indication this might happen. The desk attendant was unprofessional and unwilling to help sort it out, then lost his patience and nearly yelled at my girlfriend. I’ve never seen hotel staff behave so irresponsibly or unprofessionally in Korea. After contacting Agoda to find out what had happened, we settled the cancellation fee with the hotel manager, which was the full price of the stay. I won’t book here again. Anyone considering it should know this could happen to them.

A quiet, clean place to stay, and unlike other Korean motels, it doesn’t feel like a love hotel.
