Maison Yongsan Seoul Station Hotel

We were stuck outside in the cold for an hour or two because of the self check-in policy. There isn’t always anyone at the front desk, and staff apparently arrive around 3-4pm, so don’t show up early. Their staff also couldn’t understand or speak basic English. I don’t know why this place is still listed on hotel booking sites. The rooms were filthy and smelled bad. Under the bed we found underwear, used cotton buds, and dirt. We switched rooms, but the second one was even worse than the first, with a really, really awful smell. My family and I had a terrible experience.

The bed was bumpy and worn down, so it wasn’t comfortable.

We needed a place urgently and booked through Airbnb. It was very affordable and everything went smoothly, but the quality was what you’d expect for the price.

The hygiene was poor.
