The rooms were really clean, but that was about it. This is a mini hostel with four living rooms, and it feels like being in a train carriage. If you’re taller than average, it probably won’t suit you. Our room was 2.5 by 3 meters, with nowhere to set down and open a suitcase, so we had to do it on the bed. There’s no washing machine, dining table, or refrigerator.

The shared hallway carries every door slam into the room, so privacy and soundproofing are basically absent. I could relax, but woke up several times to the neighboring door banging. The room had no ventilation and the air freshener was overpowering. There was no fridge either, and water came from the purifier in the hall. The in-room bathroom was relatively clean. I paid 47,000 won for one person on a weekday. It’s a renovated old inn.
