There’s a convenience store just outside, with restaurants nearby, and Achasan subway station is only a minute’s walk away. Myeongdong shopping district is about a 30-minute ride. The hostel was nice and clean, with friendly staff who were accommodating. Breakfast is included, but you can also cook in the common kitchen and dining area, or in your room, which has its own stove, fridge and washing machine. Rooms are spacious and have ondol, the in-floor heating that’s cozy in cold weather. WiFi is only available in common areas. The elevator is small, and there’s just one.

It costs about 11,000 KRW per night, which was the most important part for me. The rooms, even the dorm, were clean and had complete facilities. The staff speak English well, so it’s convenient for travelers who don’t speak Korean.
