I paid 50,000 won through Agoda. There was a lot of dust under the bed, and the wallpaper on the walls and ceiling was dirty and peeling. The light cover was broken.

The owner was lovely, and even with the language barrier we always managed to communicate. The place is very clean, although the room photos can look a bit dark and uninviting. The decor is dated, but I found that charming and felt it reflected the local Korean spirit. I didn't mind it at all. I slept comfortably on the heated mattress, and the room also had a fridge and a large TV. It's a peaceful little place near public transport, so getting around Seoul was easy. Prices are reasonable, and there are shops nearby. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Seoul. One thing to clarify: we checked in at noon when we arrived, even though Agoda listed 6 PM. That listing made us hesitate before booking, so the owner should update the time on the website. Also, after passing through the orange curtains, reception is on the 3rd floor, not the ground floor.
