Casa Seorak Bed and Breakfast

We had a lovely two-day stay while sightseeing and hiking. The room was spotless, pretty, and romantic, with a jacuzzi in the superior room. The owner was welcoming and very nice, and spoke good English.

The room had a unique design and the coffee was the best. Breakfast was brought right to our room, and the owner helped us plan our trip and suggested restaurants nearby. He's the nicest person in Korea. Thanks so much.

Breakfast arrived in our room each morning, made to order by the host. It was enough to get the day started, though maybe not if you have a big appetite. I had no complaints, and liked the personal touch in the garnishes. The host was accommodating, spoke English well, and had great local suggestions. Downstairs, the shared space had coffee and tea, games, and plenty of visitor guides. The decor was charming and well appointed. There aren't many rooms, so it feels intimate. The quiet neighborhood has lovely views of the surrounding farmland, and there's a very old hanok a short walk down the street that you can see from outside. This kind of place is right up my alley. I stayed two nights with my sister's family and our father, and would absolutely return and recommend it to friends who like a friendly host. I'd especially recommend it to international visitors travelling by car. There's a bus, but I can't speak to how reliable it is, and there isn't much within walking distance. The location is the main thing to consider if you're using public transport and have a strict schedule.

JuHa greeted my family, who were visiting from the US, when we arrived for a three-night stay in August 2023. He speaks excellent English and gave us maps and addresses for local sights and restaurants. He and his wife were warm and helpful, and whenever I had a question or needed help with Korean, he was right there to assist. It was a very restful place to stay.
