I slept better than I have in a long time. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, with free towels and water. There’s a pleasant seating area in the common space and a water dispenser.

Being close to the bus terminal is a big plus. The beds are clean, and they tidy the rooms every day. Each guest has a locker in the room with an electric lock. Breakfast isn't fancy, but it’s great overall.

The shared space is beautifully designed and a great place to relax with a cold drink after hiking. There’s a small bar serving tea, coffee, beer, and I think some snacks, though convenience stores are on the same block and most people bring their own drinks. The room, bathroom, and everything else were very clean. I slept great in a shared bunk room, and the bed was more than comfortable. Each bunk has its own light and outlet. A heads-up: turn on the AC if you want it less stuffy, and leave your bunk curtain cracked a little for airflow. The shared bathroom and shower have great hot water, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The location is excellent, right across from the intercity bus terminal, where the bus from dong seoul bus station stops. The 7-1 bus to seoraksan is across the street, runs every 15 minutes, and takes 45 minutes to an hour to reach the mountain. The lady and gentleman on staff were both excellent and incredibly friendly. One thing to know is there are no elevators, so you have to use the stairs.

We spotted this modern, newly built guesthouse right across from the bus terminal as we arrived, so we walked in and booked a room. It was spotless, and the owners were friendly. There’s also a place to leave your bags if you arrive before check-in. A great stay.
