Heavenmark In Sokcho

The view from our Standard Double Ocean View room was spectacular, even better than Sokcho Rama*. The beach is right across the way for summer swimming, and Bongpo Meogu* is next door. There’s also a pojangmacha street about five minutes away, plus plenty of good restaurants nearby. I found places to eat through the hotel blog and was really happy with them. I had some trouble finding the building at first, but they picked up the phone right away and kindly directed me. This seems like it’ll be very popular after COVID-19 ends. It’s a great place to drink and have fun. Definitely go, and go twice!

The room was very clean, and the location was great. It felt like a building originally meant for officetels had been turned into a hotel. There’s a dryer, washing machine, and capsule coffee machine, but little else in the way of hotel supplies: just a toothbrush and toothpaste, no razor, cotton swabs, or skin lotion. Contactless check-in was handy since there was no key to carry, though it might take getting used to for seniors. If something goes wrong in the room, getting a response can take a while.

The location is excellent, with Lighthouse Beach, Pojangmacha Street, Jangsa Port, and Dongmyeong Port right nearby. It’s a new hotel, so the rooms are clean, and the ocean view is probably the best in Sokcho. I’m planning to stay here from now on.

Being right by the ocean gives you an amazing view, and the newly built place is clean. Hama Restaurant, Bongpo Merkuri, Jogae Sanghoe, and Pojangmacha Street are among the good nearby places to eat, so getting around was easy. I’ll definitely book here again on my next trip to Sokcho.
