Judith knows the area and hiking trails really well, speaks excellent English, and gave us trail maps and useful tips. She was very nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the guesthouse is handy for walking to restaurants and town sights, as well as setting off for the nearby National Park. The listing is Sokcho & guesthouse, or Sokchoen Guesthouse on Waver if it's hard to find, which I think may be a Waver mistake. Highly recommend staying here, you won't be disappointed.

The map with photos of local activities and attractions was especially useful for planning our days and finding lovely places around Sokcho. The guesthouse was clean and cozy, with a warm feel throughout. The owner took time to explain things and was caring and kind from the moment we arrived. Her thoughtful help made the stay fantastic, and we'd recommend the place to anyone visiting Sokcho.

Judith was a big help with arrival instructions before we got there, then with planning and logistics while we explored the area. The common room is a cute place to relax, and our room was clean and comfortable. Great value for the price, and an absolutely fantastic place to stay.

Yehudit was amazing. She stayed up for our late check-in, concerned to make sure we'd arrived safely, and helped us with everything we needed. She booked buses to and from Seoul for us, explained how to reach the hiking trails, and had great suggestions for things to do nearby. Breakfast had everything we needed, and she even arranged a taxi to the bus station so we'd get there on time. The guesthouse was warm and welcoming. If we return to Sokcho, we'll definitely book ahead. Thank you for everything, Yehudit!
