The gentlemen at the front desk were always glad to help with recommendations, transport by taxi or bus, and laundry. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with high standards, and the price felt like good value. I booked Sokcho Ritz Hotel for visits to the fish markets and a hike in seoraksan national park. The hotel is about a 20-minute drive from the park, and the beaches and fish markets are within walking distance. I'd highly recommend it if you're going to seoraksan national park.

We slept well during our overnight stay. The room on the third floor was quiet and clean, with a comfortable bed and good water pressure. It was very spacious, and the bed heater helped soothe our backaches. Downstairs they offer a simple breakfast, just coffee and bread with a toaster. The parking staff member was the friendliest person we met. The lighthouse trail starts beside the parking area, and restaurants and the coast are close by.

There were mosquitos in the room, but the location is near plenty of restaurants, the lighthouse, and ocean views.
