We really liked the hotel's location, with cafes, the beach and a bus stop for Sorak and the shops just a short walk away. From the 26th floor, the ocean views were huge, and the sunrises were wild. My room was great, and we enjoyed the stay, though the hotel itself was just so-so. The walls barely blocked any sound. I could hear normal conversation, sneezing, a chair moving, someone unplugging a charger and even a coat hanger being moved. Building maintenance also seemed low on the priority list.

The hotel itself was actually nice, but the pool came with an extra 30,000 won charge. Nobody mentioned that when I booked. Making guests pay just to use the hotel's own pool felt cheap and mean. I've never come across that before. Really rubbish.

The main drawback is the lifts. There just aren't enough for a 29-floor building. Otherwise, the location is good, there's a bus stop close by, the staff are friendly, and the clean room had a nice view.

The hotel is near the beach, although getting there still means a fairly long, walkable trek. Our suite's toilet was blocked, and no one was available to fix it. They handed us a plunger and we had to work out how to clear it ourselves. The service staff don't speak both languages, so we needed a translation app quite often.

We stayed for a week and would definitely come back. The rooms are quiet, the location is great, and the staff are really helpful. Weekend lifts can get a little crowded, but it wasn't much of a hassle. Nothing to complain about.
