The woman at the restaurant inside was incredibly helpful. She doesn't speak English, but still goes out of her way for anyone who asks. Eat there if you get the chance. It's a quiet, affordable traditional Korean stay near Seoraksan, with heated floors and large windows. The wet bathroom, small kitchen, and lack of chairs or tables are worth knowing about. There’s a double bed plus futons and pillows for extra guests. Plates, cups, toiletries, slippers, and other basics are supplied. There's also a common area for breakfast or snacks and an open deck to enjoy the sun.

I’ve been coming back for several years. It’s a pension with a motel-like feel, and the barbecue area on the first floor has a great atmosphere. The owners are kind and fun. You can walk to Seoraksan Mountain, and the pine trees in the backyard behind the barbecue area are spectacular.

We had such a lovely few days here and would happily come back. The hotel sits in a beautiful natural spot, and the owner was upbeat and quick to help. It felt cozy and impressive, and I loved the whole stay.

Good value for money, with tables and kitchen facilities set up for barbecuing. The spot is handy for the entrance to Seoraksan Mountain and the campsite, though the nearby commercial area has faded and things feel very quiet. You can tell the place has lost some of its former glory over time.
