Brown Hotel

The owner, Mr shin, was very welcoming and spoke English pretty well. He told us about nearby places, including the weekend night market, and what to look out for at seonamsa temple. It's easy to get around, with lots of buses nearby. A taxi from Ktc station to the hotel costs only 2800-3000won.

The rooms were clean and the price was very affordable. The owner was wonderful and always around with helpful advice. I'd definitely book again!

The walls looked moldy, and there were holes in them that made the room look like there'd been a brawl. It was very dusty too.

The owner was lovely and incredibly helpful. He recommended an eel barbecue and even took us there himself. It was delicious, and we wouldn't have tried it otherwise. When it was pouring rain on our way out, he offered to drive us to the bus terminal. There’s a self-service breakfast buffet in the lobby. The hotel is right by the covered market, and parking on the surrounding streets is easy and free. The rooms are fairly large and comfortable, though the decor is a little dated. They provide lots of toiletries, including shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, hairspray, mosquito repellent, body lotion, a hairbrush, and a hairdryer. There are toothbrushes, razors, and plenty of chargers too, in case you’ve forgotten yours. The rooftop washing machines are free to use. For the price, it's a really good deal in Suncheon.
