Hotel Yeogiuhtte Suncheon Jorye

The location was great, and soundproofing seemed relatively good. The room itself was in good condition, but the bathroom and shower doors wouldn’t shut tightly, so water splashed out after a shower. There were no foot towels, and I had to use a towel that had already been used. One of the two air conditioners smelled so bad I couldn’t use it. The hair dryer also didn’t work, so I called and got a temporary replacement.

The city center location makes it easy to get to restaurants, shops, and transport. On weekdays, a deluxe room is 60,000 won a night. It seems to be part of the Yeogiaeottae (Hotel) chain. The facilities were clean and had the usual motel amenities and supplies, plus an LG Styler. There was also a simple American-style breakfast with toast at the affiliated dining pub in the basement next to the motel. The downside was the poor soundproofing.

The owner is kind, and the room is great value for money. I’m planning to stay here again on my next business trip. It’d be nice if they had electric vehicle charging. The access road is a little narrow, but otherwise it’s fine.

It was good for the price, and the amenities and other things were nice. We don’t smoke, and didn’t realize there was a smoking room. The cigarette smell had soaked into the room and made it really uncomfortable. The mattress was hard too, so next time we’ll go somewhere else.
