Novotel Ambassador Suwon

The neighborhood is busy and not really to my taste, though it’s convenient, with good parking and easy access. Inside, the rooms are roomy and clean, and toiletries are provided in the bathroom, so you can pack less. The facilities are good, breakfast is excellent, and the staff were first class. Someone lent me a travel adaptor, which I really appreciated, and also told me where I could buy one when I asked.

Bob at the front desk was helpful from check-in right through our last day, and the front desk staff were friendly and professional. There was a small incident, but they took care of it quickly and were patient and understanding with my little one. The location is great, too. We’d definitely come back if we visit again!

AK Plaza mall and Suwon station connect directly to the hotel from inside, with another connection onward to TimeVillas mall. Such a great location.

The gym is large and well equipped, and the rooms are clean. But the front desk staff were inflexible and didn’t offer customer centered help, so I regret choosing Novotel for this part of our trip. I kept checking the description because it says family friendly, and that hasn’t matched our experience so far. The two bed rooms are incredibly small, and even the deluxe king room is small. It’s also described as a four star room, but our king deluxe has only two pillows, one for each person. There are several little decorative pillows, but the actual pillows are crappy and soft.
