Staff were polite and simply passed along what management had told them, so my complaint isn't about the employees. Room 401 is listed as 40 m², but the usable bedroom area felt closer to about 20 m². The rest seems to count the hallway, bathroom, and balcony, which made the room feel much smaller than advertised. If space matters to you, keep that in mind before booking.

There's plenty of dockside atmosphere from a window here. Ships go back and forth, street traffic swells and fades, and the dock equipment hums and rattles. You can also hear background loading sounds, with hissing and beeping.

The sea is right in front, and getting around is easy: the island ferry terminal is next door, Seoho Market is about a three-minute walk, and Jungang Market takes around ten minutes on foot. From outside, the building looks old and a bit tacky, but inside the room the staff at the desk were friendly and everything seemed well looked after. The bedding was very clean, like what I’d expect at a luxury hotel, and the floors and bathroom were clean too. I didn’t find the bathtub useful. It actually made washing less convenient. Parking is tight, but there is space, and an employee can park the car for you.

A nice spot to stay, and the location is great.
