Stanford Hotel & Resort Tongyeong

I loved that the bedroom was separate from the main room, and the room itself was incredible. If you can, get one facing the bay. The morning view is amazing. It's a very nice hotel and the staff are nice too, though they'll let you know about it if you check in late in the evening.

The basement has a C U convenience shop, which is handy. The hotel restaurant serves good food, though outside options mean a 5-8 minute walk downhill. The hotel sits uphill, and an east- or west-facing room can give you a nice strategic view, depending on what's available. It can get crowded on Fridays and Saturdays. The pool was cool, but costs 10,000 won to use, which I understood went toward upkeep. There are also gum, sauna, and massage chair facilities.

The room had a lovely city view, and the facilities were well maintained. I especially enjoyed the sauna, which was relaxing. From the hotel, bus number 100 makes it easy to get to either the city center or the bus terminal. I had a pleasant stay at Stanford Hotel & Resort in Tongyeong.

The room and bed were both a good size, and I really liked the balcony and ocean view. Housekeepers and other staff were thoughtful and helpful. Breakfast was nice too, especially the butter served in individual portions. I rarely find those small portions elsewhere. One annoyance was the shower curtain instead of a booth. Water got all over the floor, soaking the foot mat every time I showered.
