Tongyeong Chosun Hotel gets a strong recommendation from me, just for how bad it was. The room was too tiny to relax in, and a strange, cheap perfume smell made it impossible to sleep. At the same price nearby, Hansan Hotel has rooms more than twice as big, is incredibly clean, and has ocean views. This is a 100% authentic review, so keep it in mind if you're planning a trip.

For the price, the overall setup was understandable, though the breakfast galbitang fell short of what I'd hoped for. I was in Tongyeong for an exam, booked the day before, and checked in at 4 PM. The hotel is in a motel-heavy area, just beyond the Turtle Ship at Tongyeong Port.

The coffee and toast at breakfast were delicious, and they provide a simple morning meal. It's clean and tidy, with a TV connected to the PC where you can watch Wave, Netflix, YouTube, and more.
