The hotel is showing its age, though the staff are friendly enough. It's close to the main plaza, at least.

It has a strong retro feel, and even the smell reminded me of an old Japanese hotel. It's tiny and aged, but well maintained, so it was neat and clean. The atmosphere is great, and the affordable price makes it a decent one-night stop in Tongyeong. There's a market right across the way too, with lots to eat.

The place is good value, with great service, plenty of amenities, and good air conditioning. There were four towels, a toothbrush, toothpaste, a razor, and a hair dryer. The facilities are a bit dated and sound carries, so couples should keep the noise down.
