Brown-Dot Hotel Ulsan-Sincheon

I paid 80,000 KRW for one night in a twin room. It was clean and well kept, but the value felt a bit lacking. There were no bathrobes or complimentary bottled water. I don't plan to stay here again.

Clean, good value, and the best.

The room was clean, and I liked having air conditioning, a TV, a refrigerator, and an air purifier. It was convenient that the shower and toilet were separate. The quiet was another plus, with no traffic noise or light pollution, though there's very little around the remote Sincheon location, not even a convenience store. That may explain why this Brown Dot Hotel chain's 3-star property is relatively inexpensive. Check-in is at 6 PM, which feels extremely late, and paying 10,000 won for early check-in is frustrating. Still, I was grateful they let me in before 5:30 PM. There are pros and cons here, so think them through before deciding.

I stay here whenever work takes me to Oedong, and it's popular enough that booking ahead is needed. The neighborhood isn't fully developed yet, though there are basic restaurants nearby. Parking has never been stressful for me because there's a parking machine, even though the outdoor lot is small. Inside, the plush beds, warm lighting, and comfortable bedding stand out. The down comforters are warm, the pillows very clean, and the building feels fresh, with strong water pressure and no unpleasant odors or mold.
