Hotel Bandi

The place feels old and wasn’t cleaned well. There was a strong bleach smell, along with cigarette smoke coming in from the next room.

It’s not cold, but not hot either, and the refrigerator at least seemed to work. The outside view is hopeless, and there’s a cat crying on the rooftop. This is going to be a long night. The computer wouldn’t boot even after ten minutes, so it was useless for playing Elzo. There’s a table, but it’s awkward and doesn’t fit the workspace. The bed is just a mattress with no frame, making it hard to sit down or get up. There wasn’t enough room to hang all my clothes, unless I just wasn’t finding the space. Maybe they figure people just take their clothes off and toss them around. I really hate having the bathtub in the room. The bathroom is cramped, and showering comfortably could send water into the room. In so many ways...

I booked a room with a separate desk and was able to focus well. I stayed in a sitting room. It was very clean, with excellent facilities that felt hotel quality, even though it isn’t a hotel. Just keep in mind there’s no breakfast service if you arrive expecting one.

Clean and nice, and a great deal for the money. The surrounding area is a little messy, though.
