The lounge sofas are a comfortable spot to watch TV, the Wi-Fi works well, and the Ganjeolgot bus stop right outside makes getting around easy. It has a cozy feel, almost like a small hotel. Bread and milk, cereal, ramen, eggs, and coffee are stocked in the kitchen for anytime, and you can cook rice in the rice cooker if you bring your own. Just remember to wash your dishes and clean up after yourself. You can get to the sunrise quickly on foot. (Double Room: 40,000 KRW, indoor shower in the bathroom; Quad Room: 20,000 KRW per person, shared shower room)

It was nice being able to wash my clothes, and aside from the shower area, the facilities were generally satisfactory. The changing room floor before the shower was badly torn, and hot water didn't come right away. The owner said that happens sometimes, so I waited about 15 minutes before showering, which was inconvenient. At 23,000 won per adult, it was an affordable stop while I was traveling along the East Coast Bicycle Path. This is the only guesthouse in the Ganjeolgot area where you can stay at the most affordable price.

The hosts are friendly, and on weekdays when it's quieter, they offer a double room for the price of a six-person room. The room was clean, though, as you'd expect from a guesthouse, sound carries. We had a double room with an ocean view(?). Fields, trees, and buildings in front block much of it, but you can see a bit of the sea. On a nice day, you might even catch the sunrise.

After visiting Ulsan National Garden, I went on to Ganjeolgot, where the sun rises first, and stayed at a guesthouse to see the sunrise. It made for a great trip back!
