We had a comfortable stay and no major complaints. Our room showed some wear, and others travelling with us got nicer rooms. The buffet breakfast was simple, so I was glad we only paid for it once. The central AC wasn’t working, which seems common in Korea, so we opened the windows on warmer days. The on-site self-service laundry was handy, as was the 7-Eleven in the lobby. There’s also a larger-than-average hotel gym. For what we paid, it was great value, about 4.5 stars.

The bathrooms were clean, but I really couldn’t stand the old carpets in the room. There were also a couple of sticky patches in the car park that felt truly disgusting when I stepped on them, so I tried to put that out of my mind. I was here as part of a tour and had no choice. If I could choose, I wouldn’t stay again; I’d rather stay across the still at Shilla.
