Wonju Roma Motel

For one night they charged 40,000 won, but I couldn’t tell whether the bedding had been washed. I was itchy all night, which made the stay really unpleasant. The air barely circulated, and the shower pressure was so low that hardly any water came out. I tried to save money, but it was a miserable experience. They ought to change the sign from “Motel” to “Inn.” I won’t return or stay here again. Please take note.

The location is right in front of Wonju Gamyong, which made evening walks nice. There’s no elevator, but the owners were kind. The room felt cozy, the bed was soft, and the double bed was large. Even on a weekend, the rate was cheap and there was a bathtub. For the price, it wasn’t bad at all, and I chose it as a good-value place to stay on my Wonju trip.

It’s an old motel with no elevator. My room was clean and the price was reasonable, but they put me in a smoking room and the smell was bothersome. Fine for a cheap night’s sleep.

The owner is really friendly, and the price makes up for everything. I’ll definitely come back.
