Chereville Spa Tourist Hotel

I’ve never had such a horrible experience with customer service. We booked by phone for two adults, a child, and a dog, and confirmed the pet arrangements during the call. Pets were allowed, and the policy was posted at the front desk, but after check-in, two employees yelled at us and ran over as we were heading to our room. One kept saying no dogs and claimed we hadn’t paid, even though we had. After arguing, they put us in a room in an empty building. It had no towels, kitchen utensils, or glasses, and the fridge wouldn’t open. When we complained, they gave us hand towels instead of shower towels and a few paper cups, nothing else. My friend went to raise the fridge issue, and the employee treated her disrespectfully, deliberately hit her hand with the elevator door, then laughed. There was no coffee with breakfast either.

The food was delicious, and they had a hot spring too. The facilities were good and all the staff were so nice. I was completely satisfied with everything.

A lovely escape from the busyness of city life, with beautiful scenery. The room was really comfortable, and you can choose ondol floor beds or a Western-style room.

The sunset is good, but you need to bring a towel and dental kit since the hotel doesn’t provide them. There’s very little English spoken here.
