After a full day of sightseeing, we spent one night here and found the room comfortable and the hotel really beautiful and extremely clean. They'd left robes and slippers for us, which was a nice touch. Breakfast came with the stay and was amazing, with lots of tasty, healthy choices. I'd definitely recommend it to tourists.

The room was clean and looked after, though a few lights didn't work. We were only here for a day, and the breakfast was decent: plenty of good food, but the coffee machine had no cappuccino or other special options. Charging was awkward since the outlets were far from the beds. Our tour operator had warned us to lower expectations because renovations were underway, and the hotel was as described. Still, it was clean and comfortable enough for a convenient stop.

The room was so hot that it reached 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit). When I asked staff and the manager for air conditioning, they refused, saying the hotel's policy on March 28, 2026 was not to provide it at that time of year. Management offered a fan instead. With air quality listed as very unhealthy that day and the next, opening a window wasn't a reasonable option. For a hotel claiming five-star status, this falls short of both luxury and putting guests first. Travelers should know what to expect. I wouldn't choose HOTEL INTER-BURGO EXCO in Daegu, South Korea for a five-star stay.

The buffet wouldn't let me take coffee to go, and I couldn't get a second room key or an extra pillow. The pool also costs extra.

The room was cozy and nice, and service was about average. There aren't toiletries because of local government rules, and the chambermaid couldn't understand English. With no metro station nearby, you have to rely on local buses, which stop very frequently.
